2nd Sunday Morning Prayer 11am
3rd Sunday Holy Communion 8am
4th Sunday Family Service 11am
Every 5th Sunday Benefice Service

As Saint John’s is part of a benefice of 4 churches a special service is held at each church in turn, namely Saint Andrew’s Shalford, Saint Mary Magdalene, Wethersfield and Saint Mary’s C.H.E.

The Organ is a three manual and is considered one of the finest in the county. Richard Webb our organist, is an accomplished musician and has written a book on the subject of the organ, having maintained it for many years.

The church has a choir, which is also part of the benefice we practice every Wednesday evening and would always welcome new members. It gives us an opportunity to learn something new and have a chat with old friends.

The church also has one of the finest peels of bells, boasting a full eight bells. Ringers come from many different places to enjoy ringing out the different peels.

Future Events:

Harvest festival Sunday 30th September a benefice service.

Saturday 30th October gift day.

More to come

God Bless
